Took it on my evening trail run and gave it a quick blow when a dog started charging — the sound cut through so sharply the owner called it off immediately. It's small enough to clip on my keychain and forget about until I need it.
Blasted it once at the trailhead to test the range and my ears rang for a good minute. For something that fits on a keychain, the sheer volume is ridiculous, and I feel way less nervous on early morning runs now.
Took this on a solo hike last weekend and gave it a solid blow when a dog started charging down the trail—the sound cut through everything and the dog stopped dead. It’s genuinely police-grade loud, and I love that it fits in my palm so I don’t have to dig through a bag to grab it.
